This is exacerbated by the lack of a centralised service to easily view available spaces and get through to the right people who operate those stations. At Rail Estate, we recognised this problem and created a solution to resolve it. We provide a comprehensive platform for businesses to access, secure and match their businesses to these prime retail spaces, ensuring a seamless connection between tenants and train companies.
We envisioned empty train station units transforming into bustling hubs for unique independent businesses, national chains, and start-ups in prime locations with guaranteed footfall. We saw opportunities in the under-used outdoor spaces around station car parks for food trucks and pop-up businesses.
Recognising the challenge businesses face in finding the right retail space at railway stations, we created Rail Estate to bridge this gap and launched in July 2020.
