How can I choose a space for my social or community enterprise?

This information is useful and may influence the unit you choose. For instance, a station with an Amazon locker will have people coming to collect their parcels, as well as passengers. This could potentially open up your customer base to a range of new people – not just regular commuters. You can then compare this information for different locations to see which is better for your requirements.
What are the benefits of hiring a railway station unit?
A railway station unit provides a strategic platform for increased visibility, engagement with the public, and fundraising capabilities.
Is it better to hire an indoor or outdoor railway station unit?
Choosing indoor and outdoor units depends on your specific needs and preferences. Both types of units have their own unique advantages.
What is a unit’s status?
A unit’s status indicates its current availability or stage in the leasing process. It helps potential tenants understand whether the unit is immediately available for rent, soon to be available, or currently in negotiations with a potential tenant.

This unit is currently open for new prospects. It’s ready for immediate occupancy or use by interested parties, subject to successful screening.
Coming Soon:
This unit is in the pipeline and will be available in the near future. Stay tuned for its release!
Under Offer – Subject to Contract:
This unit has caught the interest of a potential tenant and has passed the negotiation phase. All that is required to complete the takeover of the unit are final details. While a deal is anticipated, it remains on our site until the transaction is finalised, offering a slim chance for other inquiries should the current negotiation not conclude. We recommend that you do not enquire about these units with this status.
What is an outdoor mobile space?
An “Outdoor Mobile Space” refers to strategically designated spaces within or around UK railway stations tailored for mobile retail units. They can be unutilsed spaces outside a station entrance or a few car parking spots that are also not used. Instead of fixed brick-and-mortar establishments, these spots accommodate dynamic setups like trucks, converted horse-boxes, or vans, enabling businesses to offer products or services in high-footfall areas with flexibility and adaptability. Outdoor mobile spaces require a tenant to provide their own sutiable mobile vehicle, as they are NOT provided by the landlord, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR).
With over 230 railway stations at your fingertips, let’s find the ideal spot for your charity, NGO, social or community enterprise. Dive in and make a difference!
